SUMMER HOLIDAYS IN BURNHAM ON SEA 1950s:
Hi,
I saw a vintage video a day or so ago on this website and it was amazing. I left a message too.
I believe it was one of the celebrations and the footage was spectacular. I think it was King George? Or Edward. I’m sorry to be so non-specific. I would like to show my partner. However, I can’t find it.
Is there any way you could advise please?
Many thanks.
Mrs C Trask.
Hi Claire,
Yes fascinating isn’t it. You can find it on this page: http://www.captureburnham.co.uk/about. If you are interested you may still be able to purchase a copy of the Norman Gobey Burnham on Sea DVD with lots more on it here: https://debrichardsonfilm.bigcartel.com/product/norman-gobey-burnhams-movie-maker-dvd. There is also more info at https://normangobey.wordpress.com, though I’m not sure you can still purchase the DVD on that site.
