Summer Carnivals 1920s

In past years Burnham had a summer Carnival, believed to have begun in 1916, as well as a winter one shared with Highbridge, which began much later. In the 1950’s and 60’s the start of the summer route was from St Andrew’s Road and proceeded along Berrow Road , up Seaview Road and along the Esplanade. This procession is travelling in the opposite direction . Does anyone remember the route taken
